A ghost haunting home: Sen Sok Town: fear, disappointment and heart-satire in Phnom Penh.

Sen Sok Town or Borey Sen Sok condominium, a haunting place but fear, disappointment and satire. I am a Singaporean on my long mission to Cambodia, in which I have considered to buy a good home for living as well as meeting around all my Singaporean fellows who were introduced to buy homes in the Sen Sok Town condominium locating in Boeng Bayab, Phnom Penh Thmey, Toulkork, Phnom Penh area by our Singaporean Association Chairman in Cambodia.

Every time, I stay at my home of Sen Sok Town condominium is every time I dare not come out of home or not even, show up my face to neighbors or friends; but when I do, I have almost tears and sobering stop my words to say… because of a fear and much disappointment and my own regret to buy this home with money worth of my life as a missionary.

The father who is the real estate or condominium developer with company named Borey Sen Sok Co., Ltd., the second son who is the contractor graduated from China Construction University that people believe China is not a quality country in the world but a cheating race, with company named Khao Taing Co., Ltd. And the property or Sen Sok Town condominium management company named Sand Republic Investment Co., Ltd. is the third son who has limb problem; which I found it as a really home and family business to many of customers from abroad who to buy homes in this condominium. All the money, payment and other sale and purchasing agreement and down-payment are all under the hand of his daughter who sitting down and playing facebook as a financial manager in the sale office.

They break the sale and purchase agreement and even, forced customers including me to move in living in their condominium in a purpose is just to make money collecting from us as a management fee, while the construction is not ready with deadly noise of drilling, breaking and cutting bricks under a fear of strangers who smuggling into each unit for smoking cigarette or using toilet or water that we identify they are their construction builders or labors who are not strictly controlled from early morning at 6 am till 10 pm at night. We can’t sleep nor sit down or even concentrate for any work or even our holidays or weekends were destroyed until we decided not to bring friends, relatives, families or sons and daughters into our home for a night or even a day due to the fear and scare of their safety and security.

They force us to move in with more promises on completing the construction, building and other facilities such as pool, steam, sauna and gym as said in the sale and purchase contract but they broke these promises upon the sale and purchase agreement terms of compensation to us by so many pretext, pretend and irresponsibility; especially laughing at us who to just make a suggestion or small complaint to our condition in the condo. I am so headache and disappointed but tearful when seeing the face of the son with limb problem and any other staff working for Sen Sok town.

I dare not show my face to meet the son who is the management company’s owner who even is not responsible into my face but running away but sending small staff to charge with my suggestion and complaint but nothingness and even, laugh at my suggestion and complaint but sending other new staff to claim money for management fees and other fees in my private home and common areas, while the whole building is cracking with water leaking and drifting into many homes destroying furniture and fixtures including other households while the quality of the building is too low with cracks everywhere including the building basic pillars and building walls. The installation including safety front doors, plumbing fitting and bathroom appliances and more interior installation are all with low quality products from China; which I take only 2 weeks to use with all breaking, leaking, broken door, and broken lock, etc. Building finishing work was really amazing less qualified, which are not right to the quoted lay-out and plan while on the sale and marketing paper. Oh, God! I bet I am surrender now!!!

They all don’t give me any solution but claiming money on this on that, plus hiding face when we have real need to be solved but bluffing customers including me like we are kids to live in their homes; although we have spent our own money to legally buy under the law of the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia. What a sad story????

I got to move in and live for 8 months in a horror, fear and tears after they forced me to sign on a handover letter just while there was a death of a construction builder reported by internal staff in the first building; while the new or second building is reportedly told by the internal construction staff that, there were a construction builder who works as a waste remover died lying on the parking floor after long day working without food or something that I can’t believe a Chinese decent born and living in Cambodia did not learn much about humanitarian or even, not strong in God to do such a life-holding job and services under a NO experience in real estate development, construction and property management can work on with strong and thick face???? Where is journalist or news agency since they paid a lot of corrupted money for not releasing news!

I do not recommend but if ever invest or put money onto this business affairs of Sen Sok Town, those people will find their great regret at the end, that I even now announcing to sell my unit, even lease out to any other one which make me stay away from this deadly family business rather than renting a Cambodian home living near a street is much way better. All new people, investors or buyers who don’t know yet, shall learn more about the owners of the building, which will not fall into such a bad, worse and worst condition like me to the Borey Sen Sok, a crap family business investment!!! Think twice and 10 times, to go around before involving this crap of ghost haunting home business!
